Last year, Virginia-born alternative metal band Bad Omens released The Death of Peace of Mind, which became their first studio effort to reach number 1! With an incredible new record, it was only logical that the band supports the album with a massive outing titled A Tour of the Concrete Jungle – which all sold out! That's why they are extending the album's promotions with a massive 2023 trek, the Concrete Forever Tour! At the start of the year, the worldwide outing sold out three nights at the Dome in the U.K. Meanwhile, the band made waves in Australia when they made an appearance at Knotfest. This fall, Bad Omens are making their way across North America and fans are now scrambling for tickets! Kicking off in September, the tour will cover over 30 dates across major cities, including a stop at the Fillmore Auditorium on Friday, 29th September 2023! Expect nothing but massive hits and alt-metal staples when you come and see Bad Omens in Denver! Grab your tickets now before they’re gone!
Bad Omens has been around since 2015, and they’re on the brink of a massive commercial breakthrough. Dropped in 2016, their eponymous debut album entered four Billboard categories, including peaking at 9 on the Heatseekers chart. Released via Sumerian Records, the album featured the alternative-metal fusion staples “Glasses Houses,” “Exit Wounds,” “The Worst in Me,” and “The Fountain. The critically-acclaimed effort was profusely compared to Bring Me the Horizon’s music. However, fans have consistently attested to the band’s unique nu-metal/ alternative fusion. Their exemplary work with their debut album scored them numerous gigs in larger venues and appearances on the highly-coveted Warped Tour. Their eclectic music style has garnered praise from both rock, punk, and metal fans.
During the promotion of their album, the band embarked on a number of supporting tours. In 2019, they released their sophomore album, Finding God Before God Finds Me. The album soared to number 4 on the Heatseekers chart and performed impressively in three other categories. The album notably spawned “Never Know,” the band’s first single to enter the Mainstream Rock chart. The following year, Bad Omens went on their first major headline tour. However, the trek was cut short due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Hence, with fans hungry for Bad Omens’ live performance, their 2022 run became a mega success, with several sold-out dates. Additionally, last October, the band made headlines when they sold out every date of Tour of the Concrete Jungle months in advance. The tour’s success can be stemmed from their groundbreaking new album, The Death of Peace of Mind. The effort was their first record to go number 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. It also happened to spawn the band’s first single to go number 1 on two charts. Released in 2022, “Just Pretend” topped Mainstream Rock and Hard Rock Digital Songs.
This 2023, the band is anticipated to once again sell out their fall tour. So if you’re keen on seeing the fastest-rising stars in the heavy metal scene, you should quickly secure tickets now.
