Porno For Pyros [CANCELLED] at Fillmore Auditorium

Following the dissolution of Jane's Addiction, the American alternative rock band Porno for Pyros was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1992. Perry Farrell (vocals), Stephen Perkins (drums), Peter DiStefano (guitar), and Martyn LeNoble (bass) were all former members of Jane's Addiction. LeNoble was replaced by Mike Watt during the recording of 1996's Good God's Urge.

Prior to taking a break in 1998, the band put out two studio albums: Porno for Pyros in 1993 and Good God's Urge in 1996. Since then, Porno for Pyros has sometimes reunited. As of 2021, they have officially stated that they are producing new content.

Porno for Pyros’ fans are uber excited for their upcoming music. Perry Farell said in an interview with Blabbermouth: “So this year there's gonna be a lot of music that not only we're gonna be performing, but there's gonna be a lot of music being put out this year," he said. "I don't know if we can call any of them albums; I don't know if I necessarily am up for an album just yet, but, hey, three or four songs from both groups [Jane's Addiction and Porno For Pyros] would be plenty, right? [Even] two great songs, and I know we've got two great songs from both groups already. So I'm just psyched about that — getting a chance to perform it and getting a chance for you all to hear it.”
