Porno for Pyros is the band that has embodied the messiness of life, unafraid to pack a punch musically and give attitude to the world. They have a strong following of fans and have reached cult status in music, with their two studio albums becoming beacons of anarchy and defiance since the 1990’s. Their self-titled 1993 album and 1996 album, ‘Good God’s Urge’ lit fires that have remained stoked and burning.
This year after some rumours and unclarity of their reunion, band member LeNoble announced his amicable departure from the band in November but shared that all of them are super excited about their latest single, ‘Agua’. Their latest and last EP as a band will have unreleased material from their recent sessions. LeNoble said that is an authentic connection between their new songs and how they’ve grown as a group, with friendships being mended and the recordings made with love.
Their new single, ‘Agua’ shows a change within the band members and how they want to contribute to saving something important – advocating the protection of the oceans and coasts in America in collaboration with the Surfrider Foundation. It marks a standing point for the band, and how they want to create a message that will touch people.
Don’t miss out on their farewell tour and book your tickets today to join Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins and Peter DiStefano as they rally together for the last encore of Porn for Pyros, and find yourself on fire, like the band and the stage, at the Fillmore Auditorium on the 22nd of February 2024.
