What to expect

The Fillmore Auditorium is in the Capitol Hill area of downtown Denver. From the outside, it looks like a typical musical venue, with a large billboard displaying upcoming shows. It’s surrounded by several local restaurants, fast food places, bars, and stores.

Doors open around an hour before shows begin. Guests can line up outside before passing security and entering the venue. There may be a wait time during this process — those wishing to skip the lines can purchase fast passes for $10 to gain easier access.

Inside, the auditorium mixes modern and classic, with balcony decor and ceiling chandeliers blending into cutting-edge stage and musical technology. Most guests attending a show at the Fillmore Denver will stand in the general admission areas. However, there are small unreserved sections of seating at the sides, some at the back, and more on the balcony. All areas experience quality sound.
