Bullet For My Valentine has been a mainstay in metal music since they released the breakthrough album, “The Poison”, in 2005 – 20 years ago to a tee. The album, sporting four singles – “Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow (What Can I Do)”, “All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)”, “4 Words (To Choke Upon)”, and “Tears Don’t Fall” - entered the Billboard 200, achieving gold certification.
Bullet For My Valentine consistently goes from strength to strength, sporting all the emotion, talent and power needed to have that thing of bodies flying everywhere and each song being greeted with a roar of approval.
When Trivium released their 2005 now-canonical album, “Ascendancy”, the group saw a meteoric rise to being hailed as one of the best bands in modern metal. Reviewer Johnny Loftus stated that “Trivium are a ridiculously tight quartet, unleashing thrilling dual guitar passages and pummeling kick drum gallops as surely as they do melodic breaks and vicious throat screams.” The album debuted on the Billboard 200 chart, featuring the smash-singles “Like Light To The Flies”, “Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr”, “A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation”, and “Dying In Your Arms”, achieving gold status.
The heavy metal pioneers will be supported in Denver by Grammy-nominated metalcore giants, August Burns Red, known for hits such as “Identity” and “Invisible Enemy”, as well as the British heavy metal band, Sylosis, who shot to stardom in 2008 with the release of their debut album, “Conclusion Of An Age”.
