The Garden - The Band

Wanna know a secret? The Garden (the band) is coming to the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver Colorado as part of the US leg of their 2024 World Tour. It’s been a long time since the band has performed live and they are…ravenous. Their words, not mine. Get tickets to see the chaos go down this Wednesday, May 15th 2024. But make haste; tickets might sell out faster than you think… Perhaps the fans are just as ravenous.

Formed in Orange County, California by twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, The Garden is an experimental mess of sound. They blend noises hailing from punk, ska, electronic and art rock to create something entirely new and a little unsettling. They’re on tour just for the fun of it - no new album, no new music at all. Just two guys wanting to make a big sound. Curious? Good. Grab tickets to see them at the Fillmore today.

The Garden are hitting stops all over the US (and the globe) this year with their newly announced World Tour. The band will be kindly chaperoned by the one and only Alice Glass as well as punk rock band The Spits. With this eclectic lineup, tickets will sell fast - so heed my warning: buy your tickets now so you don’t miss out.

Since their tumultuous debut in 2011, The Garden has made a name for themselves by appealing to their own strange and peculiar audience. Since then, they have performed at Coachella and toured the world, perhaps proving that it pays to be slightly off putting. Now, joined with The Spits, they are bringing their weird, punk rock energy to venues all over the world. The Spits themselves are a peculiar sort; originating from Michigan, the punk rock band matches The Garden’s experimental eccentricity with ease. If you care to see for yourself, grab some beautiful tickets right here, right now.

Seeing The Garden live can only be described as “an experience.” smoke floats across the stage, coating the giant clown puppets and eccentric creatures made from paper mache that decorate it. The two men jump to and fro, gallivanting up and down the stage with their face paint melting off. It is a time to be had, and you are currently missing out on it. Tickets are available… aren’t you gonna buy?

I would be remiss if I did not mention the likes of Alice Glass, who will be joining The Garden and The Spits on their march across the country. Alice Glass, formerly of Crystal Castles, is an electronic passion project from the mind of one Margaret Osborn. Live, she is a force - combining electronic music with a hint of punk attitude in a way that so perfectly compliments the frivolity of The Garden. In other words: come for The Garden, stay for Miss Alice Glass. In case the message has not come across quite as clear as I have meant for it to, allow me to spell it out for you: get tickets to see The Garden and Co live at the Fillmore in Denver RIGHT NOW. You simply do not want to miss it.
