Wizkid [CANCELLED] at Fillmore Auditorium

Sensational performer Wizkid has been everywhere lately. The award-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter has been featured in several massive hits, like “One Dance” by Drake and Kyla, “Brown Skin Girl” by Beyonce, “Call Me Everyday” by Chris Brown, and many more. His distinctive musical style and unique vocals have earned him several recognitions for his work and eventually led to an international breakthrough for his third album, Sounds from the Other Side. The 2017 effort peaked at number 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and 5 on the Heatseekers chart. On the Billboard 200, the album steadily performed and peaked at number 107.

Three years later, Wizkid’s follow-up effort, Made in Lagos, topped the U.S. World Album chart and entered the charts in eight other countries. The album features several guest appearances from renowned artists, such as Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, H.E.R., Skepta, Ella Mai, and more. For his work with Made in Lagos, Wizkid earned a Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album. The 2020 effort dominated the World Albums chart and peaked at number 28 on the Billboard 200, making it Wizkid’s highest charting effort to date.

In 2022, Wizkid dropped his latest work, More Love, Less Ego. The album, which peaked at number 2 on the World Albums, includes highly-acclaimed performers Skillibeng, Naira Marley, Shenseea, Ayra Starr, Skepta, and Don Toliver.
