Us here at Fillmore Auditorium in Denver Colorado are so pumped to bring Yung Lean to the stage for all of y’all, as he takes on America for his (and Europe, and Asia) for his Forever Yung 2025 headlining tour. Right on the heels of his newest album, Jonatan (releasing on May 2nd), Lean will will embark on his twenty-one show tour - hitting stops like the Salt Shed in Chicago, London’s OVO Arena, a night over in Milan, and of course - right here in the mile high city at Fillmore Auditorium, 

Yung Lean has an unconventional story to the usual come up from his American contemporaries in the rap game. Born in Stockholm Sweden to an acclaimed poet and author, Lean’s way with words came long before he started rapping and making beats for the melodies in his head. After living a fairly normal childhood growing up between Belarus and Stockholm, he met producers and other rappers in Sweden’s musical radius, and began making his own tracks shortly thereafter. He was sharing the experimental and lo-fi sounds on Soundcloud and Tumblr all the way back in 2013 - and he gained a huge following shortly thereafter. He may not be the “first soundcloud rapper” technically, but he is one of the most popular and acclaimed from that mid 2010s generation.

Lean blew up and started getting major play shortly after, with tracks like Ginseng Strip 2002 becoming a viral hit, and doing major European tours by 2014, and then soon on to America. He began to model for Calvin Klein and Balmain, was featured on Frank Ocean’s Blonde EP, and performed sold out shows in New York to LA. Yung Lean has been tearing up the scene for the last decade and then some, and now, he’s ready for more and to take it all back to his roots. In a recent interview with INTERVIEW MAGAZINE, Lean describes himself as “a poet who does different genres. If I do pop, then it’s a poet doing pop, and if I do rock, it’s a poet doing rock.”., AKA - he doesn’t seem satisfied being put in a box, so we can only speculate what his next tour and album will be like - but, we know it’ll be one of his best, that’s for certain.
